The Kiss

Video Installation: 1 videotape, 2 Video monitors, VCR, red string
Two television monitors, facing each other, were harnessed together with
a red string. The screens, barely visible to the viewer, were playing
an identical videotape of a mouth in an extended kiss pressed to the plate
of glass. This video sculpture was formally inspired by a Brancusi sculpture
entitled “The Kiss”, and recreated in a contemporary medium.
